think i might have a slight air leak problem on my weirauch HW110, after shooting i always refill the air bottle before i put it back in its case, this morning i took it out and the gauge has moved from the point i fill to.
is this a simple fix or a trip to gunsmiths?,
any help or advice appreciated

They will usually drop a little after filling due to cooling. How much has it dropped?
i normaly fill to about 190, this is where it is at thismorning

I'm new to pcp (virgin) so don't bite my head off but, I read somewhere that you shouldn't store your pcp with a full fill as it can damage the seals. As it's usually filled to 190 could this be the cause?

No one will bite your head off , this is the same as some of those unanswered personal preference things I personally leave my gun however it sits after I’ve been out lol sometimes full sometimes not . Some like to do as you say some don’t I think personally do whatever feels best for you and if you get chance and time learn your gun on how to replace seals and stuff like that if ever need to but no question is a bad question and no one should be disrespectful to a opinion

Serviced/resealed loads of them (prob 50+)
Only place the generally fail is the inlet.
It's the first one that's goes as it gets hammered with air getting forced in.
That and they sometimes pick up dirt that goes in-between the seal and the seat
Stick your finger over one side of the inlet then stick your tongue over the other, I'm betting you'll feel bubbles.
If not there's a hole on the side of the gauge cover, tounge that hole as well as I've had the odd one fail there.

anybody in my neck of the woods competent enough to renew seals or is it a trip to the gun shop, im not confident enough to strip the rifle
Yes, same town ;) I do one of these almost every week, it is often 1 of 2 seals, fill valve or Inlet valve. the seals are small and over time take a set and get hard, they soon begin to leak. I can sort this for you if you want. PM me for phone number etc.

Get yourself some leak detection spray from a plumbers merchants to test the seals close to outside of the action and a balloon tight over the end of the barrel to identify what's up.

You gotta wipe off the excess LDF and oil after tho.

LDS ? You mean like water & Fairy liquid in a spray bottle ( w/ maybe a touch of glycerine) ?

The ballon test:
One on the air cylinder and one on the barrel. . . It gives a good starting point.

This one was on a leaky Weihrauch.
The leak was coming from the fill port.
