Morning , Anyone recommend a decent aftermarket 3D printed magazine for the Uragan 2 (that works) as the new ones I’ve got keep getting pellets jammed in them and it’s now got to the point where it’s pi**ing me off .

Cheers

Mine are doing the same, it’s usually the first or second pellet.

The pressure of the new magazine is apparently the cause, the solution is to loosen them off so there isn’t as much tension. I’m yet to try it

Darc or CARM magazines will be the alternative

Can’t beat the Carm mags had them for my Brocock, just brought me a Vulcan 3 and am all ready using a Carm SSL kindly donated by a friend until my others arrive.

I’ve had them before but just wondered which worked well with the AGT guns .

Thanks for reply 😎

Unfortunately, that didn't work for me.
Mine are the new design and are completely unusable.

What year is your rifle? It only happens on the first 1 or 2 pellets but the rest of the magazine functions fine. It is bloody annoying mind but did you end up contacting EB?

Serial number starts with 23. I purchased it new in February.
It's been back to EB for a faulty valve issue.
In way of an apology they sent me a spare magazine which is as useless as the two that come with the rifle from new🙈
I'm having to use one of @Aston_Shooter excellent SSL.

Same year as mine then, that’s worrying. I’ve only just picked mine up 😳

How long after did the valve issue start?

Apologies hijacking the thread slightly here

Regarding aftermarket mags I have both CARM and @jchu_1988 mags , both work equally well , which generation of AGT mags are you guys having bother with , the ones without the last shot lockout ?

Sorry to hear you’re having issues, I must have been lucky with mine. I’ve got a new U2 (SN starts with 23) that I bought at the start of May and a new Vixen (SN starts with 25) that I bought a few weeks ago and I’ve not had issues with either (yet) using the supplied mags.

I was supposed to see the Vixen mags having a last shot lockout and the U2 ones not, I was just surprised they aren’t all the same.

Are the last shot lockout the newer or older design?

My mate has just ordered a Uragan 3 and has been assured by the RFD that AGT have reinstated the end stop on the latest mags , have you tried loading one pellet less to reduce the spring tension in the mag ?
I've released the spring pressure by one full revolution and left 2 pellets out and this improves it but still doesn't completely cure the problem.
It's also pellet specific.
Soft JSB pellets are the worst for jamming.
It's got to the stage where I've lost all confidence in the original magazines and I stick with the SSL. Not ideal in the field but better than having an outing spoilt by a jam and an early finish to strip the rifle.

My 22 plate Vixen runs the older mags with the last round stop and they've been faultless... It would appear that AGT need to go back to using those.

That’s interesting because my Vixen (bought new 2 weeks ago) was, I was told, one of the last of the Mk 1 versions to be sent out from EB…and the SN staring with 25 would suggest that’s correct if the first 2 numbers are year of manufacture? Anyway, that came with the last stop magazine lockout.

Just sharing this for wider info on the changes AGT may have made to what’s supplied with what 🙂
