So this AA S200 .22 was bought around 3 weeks ago. Never put a pellet through it apart from the one in the back of the sellers van! Damage to the bore near the muzzle from some 'miscreant' trying to remove stuck pellets (I assume with a woodscrew such was the damage). I've cut it back 45mm to clear the damage and likely lost all the choke, crowned and threaded the muzzle. Fortunately I can still get the filler cover off without removing the silencer. There may even still be room for a Robert Lane external reg (if he's back in the loop....anyone know if he's OK?) First few shots this morning started low 400's and through hammer spring and TP adjustment got it up to 614fps. It was running at 11.2'Lbs with JSB RS. Bearing in mind the barrel needs leading and possibly there's a micro burr at the crown although that should shoot out soon, I'm pleased with initial ½" group at 30 yards. I need to lighten the trigger some and sort the 1st/2nd stages....polish the adjuster screws. Rather pleased with it and the Nikko on top is not too heavy to spoil this lightweight rig. Perhaps a small stock extension will help my larger frame. I'm not that sure about the stock...does it look like walnut? A tad 'orange' to me but its still rather nice

Looking good and very interesting to read the journey you've had with it. That stock looks more Beech than Walnut with the flecking along the lower fore-end and butt. Nice rifle.

Don't think a walnut was ever offered, of no consequence really though - a well deserved cult rifle.

Robert Lane is back in the loop- at least he was last wednesday! If ordering use his e-bay store.

That's a beefy silencer on the end there, I'm not sure there will be room with the lane external reg fitted though mine has the old push fitting to fill I believe yours will have the smaller new type so it may work? I've got a Lane fitted, I'm not sure if it has made any real difference though if I'm completely honest! Shot count is around 50 still and pellet deviation is almost identical to how it was standard. MAYBE the first 5-7 shots on a 200 bar fill are more "on song" than before (slightly larger sweet spot?) but that's about it.

If you need any measurements of the cylinder with the lane let me know and I'll crack the tape measure out.

That would be great thanks, all I need is the lengthier the reg body without the male thread. I can work it out from there. Also I can make a one-off filler cover, much shorter than the original, or at the worst, turn a ½" unf barrel extension so the silencer clears it all. Be nice to have a gauge but I'm sure the shot count for a .22 reg'd will be good, even with the short barrel. Cheers, IGK

Silencer is high volume home made for my FAC. Quiet as a mouse fart on a sub 12!!!
