Anyone remember Hawk the Slayer ?
I'm not ashamed to admit that it was one of my favourite videos when I was still in school. I was always fascinated by the throwing axes (not the dazzling acting, or the finely crafted script...) and so I forged this quite a few years ago with Hawk the Slayer very much in mind.
For years I often used it when making longbows, and then I gave it to my daughter when she was in scouts, and it was much-admired any time they went on camp. Then I lost it when we moved house almost 3 years ago. Fast forward to today, when I unearthed it at the back of my garage - it's always the last place you look...
1085 and L6 Damascus steel, cocobolo handle, it needs a good clean and a resharpen, but I am glad I found it again

I'll put some better pictures up during the week, after it's had a little TLC
