We have had many questions regarding rechargeable batteries.
We have just tested these — please see the link below. They provide continuous operation for 3 hours and 15 minutes, after which they need to be recharged.

Any alternative 3.7V RCR123A or 16340 Li-Ion battery is also suitable.

We include a set of non-rechargeable CR123A batteries in the box, so you can try the scope right away.

Looks interesting at that price point. Anyone used one ?? 🤔

There is a discussion thread on The Stalking Directory under Classifieds.
We sold dozens so far.

Hush hush, it is basically rebranded Hikmicro Thunder TH35.

I've got one on the way. The SD thread provides a lot of useful info, and I know and have previously used the unit it's based on.

My main use will be for night shooting Deer under CL55.

This won't be a regular occurrence but the specs and performance of this unit are more suited to my needs.

Price and specs make this a real bargain.

Had a play with this last night, just in the garden. Weather wasn't brilliant for thermals, warm moist air and intermittent rain.

Quite impressive performance, and ideally suited for my needs. I use a Hik Condor 35Pro as my spotter. No, it doesn't have its performance capabilities - tech is totally different. I couldn't use it to distinguish between a Roe buck or Doe in the winter for example. The Hik can just about pick up a pizzle at sensible ranges.

But as a spotter or more usefully a scope, makes an awful lot of sense out to LR/ HMR distances for rabbits, fox and for my particular use - Muntjac with my .222 under 80 yards.

If I was tech savvy I'd try to do comparison vids and upload them......but I am more interested in using the device than working out how to do that........😀.

So unfortunately, just able to offer my objective (written) opinion.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, whether written comments, videos, or photos.

Recording videos with this unit could not be simpler: just press one button. Alternatively, if you install the HIKMICRO Sight app, videos can be transferred directly to your phone, making it easy to share them with the community.

An image of it on my Lelya. Took 3 rats from about 15 yards yesterday evening.
So far I’ve found it quite easy to use. Menu system is much easier to navigate than a pard/sytong.

A small number of Nordforce Thermal Riflescopes have a little problem where the device does not save the zeroing profile and asks to select the language and battery voltage every time it is powered on.

This issue can usually be resolved through the scope menu by following the steps below.

  1. Remove the battery from the scope.
  2. Connect the supplied USB cable and power the scope from USB only.
  3. Select the language and battery voltage settings to reach the main screen.
  4. Wait for approximately 10 seconds before continuing. This step is important.
  5. Press and hold the Menu button to enter the main menu.
  6. Press the Down button 12 times and open the Restore menu.
  7. When the scope asks “Initialize?”, select OK.
  8. The scope may display “Initialization failed”with a red icon.
    • If this happens, do not switch the scope off.
    • Wait for the scope to reboot automatically.
  9. If initialization fails, repeat steps 3–8 two or three times until the scope displays “Initialization succeeded” with a green icon.
  10. Allow the scope to reboot automatically once more.
  11. Select your language and battery voltage settings again.
The issue should now be resolved, and the scope should correctly save its settings and zeroing profiles.

If you are having any trouble, please contact operations@immersive-optics.com and we will help you.

Mine had this issue and followed the advice above and rebooted straightaway and all inputs are saved and functioning as it should on battery and power bank.

Are units now being checked before they are shipped out?

Solar-related Incident. They They are always 100% checked. However, one day in Glasgow, the rain stopped and the sun came out. Naturally, the entire team froze in shock and stared outside, unsure whether to admire it or report it as suspicious.
During this rare solar incident, a few units slipped past our usually watchful eyes unchecked. They are not faulty — just a few buttons need pressing to put everything right.
Thanks I'm going to give one a punt. Fingers crossed I don't have to do it as Im useless with tech.
