.177 Hades

Anyone had much luck with the Hades or is it just another one of these hyped up 'hunting' pellets?

I shoot JSB exact diabolo's and they perform really well. As do the JSB exact heavy diabolo's. Tried the Hades and couldn't get a nice group!

Just wanted to know if anyone else has them grouping nicely?

Never had them group in .177 but they`re quite good in .22

Great in .22 really accurate I've just bought some in .177 to try myself. I'm sure @Leepelletb didn't have much success in .177 either

As above I shoot with 8-10 gents and we have all tried them in .177 and can't get any good groups with a variety of pcp and springers,therefore in .22 they are excellent and my go to .22 pellet

Work well in 22 crap in 177 for some reason don’t no why but would like to no why if any body can enlighten me.

I didn't have any joy with them in .177. .22 is a different matter, my S200 loves them, as did my last HW100.

My pulsar hated them, they just wouldn’t group at all so I have them to a mate to try and they are great in his hw100

In .22 I have no problem with them at all.

The Weihrauch liked them in .177, the Brocock not so much?

All my .22’s love Hades, sadly, the .177’ s are poor in comparison. Anything over 15 m and the grouping starts to open up. Trying to use them up with short distance pest control and pistol plinking.

Seems strange why the .177 are so bad compared to the .22

Might have to try some in my .22 if they're that good!

But the Hades in .22 are 5.50 and a lot of .22,s are slightly bigger ie 5.52 or 5.53.

I had an FX Impact Mk1 that was surgical with .177 Hades. I'm not convinced they're better, in any cal, than the equivalent diabolo heavy though.

But the Hades in .22 are 5.50 and a lot of .22,s are slightly bigger ie 5.52 or 5.53.

air arms hunters in 5.50 are another exception I've never had a .22 that doesn't shoot them well either..

They're what I use in .177 for ratting and I don't miss many. That being said, I don't tend to shoot over 25/30 yards.

.22 Hades are my go to hunting pellet (lethal).. the .177 Hades (which I have few tins of)... NOT so good...
