100m groups

Which range is that as im not far from Bristol
 
I have 60m at home so will start there then try the 100m at the club, you've come up with a good challenge there

That Bristol activity centre by Cribbs is properly open now (bright orange afv parked on the side of the m5 approaching junction). I think it's the best all rounder in the area now having used Braces range for years
 
Lots of fixed targets and card holders. The metal face of the back stop berm is good for mounting long range 🎯
 
never shot out to 100 yards with the air rifle. Always moved to the .22lr at that distance. I must try it

Even in 177, crazy loopy in sub 12 which is why the ops card is 😍 to us mortals. Worth a punt, like trying to accurately lob a mini mortar

Great group @MrD furthest I can shoot is 80 yards and the best I shot was 20mm ctc with 5 shots. With a vixen in .177 and 7.87's. I am in a long process of trying to replicate that with a .22, I do have a couple of contenders when conditions permits 🙂

The vixen is definitely capable. I prefer a 10gr pellet for outside. @100m .177 pellet will have a 4.6ft drop and a .22 @100m will drop roughly 8ft depending on pellet weight. Don’t quote me on the .22 my ballistic calculator is playing up. Great fun though.

I’ve shot out to 300 yards with my CZ457 challenging but achievable 👍

I managed about an inch and a half with my sub12 dreamline quite a few years ago now!

I must admit I’ve not tried for groups recently as we put a 100y 4” hog and just try and hit that now 😆

Bench rested on my plastic fantastic front rest with a rear bag

First shot was low so dialled it and shot 5, then dialled it a bit more and shot 5 more.
Was just enough of a breeze to flap the target a tiny bit.

Here’s my attempts on Tuesday outdoors with very little wind. 7 shots at each target .
Standing resting on steel gate with blanket draped over on top rail
Hw100 .177 jsb heavies and hik micro lite
100 yards lazered
3 almost touching on one attempt 🙏 it’s quite addictive and sure I can do better .

Yeah those three were the 2nd 4th and 5th shot I think .
I didn’t know about it until I walked up to target as they were so close it just looked like one strike and I thought I’d missed completely 🎯
