Does anyone believe power data supplied with a gun?

In my case where I have spent £1500 on a daystate group gun, no. I wonder if manufacturers should probably be testing and adjusting using heavy pellets.

If a new PCP rifle were to test overpowered with heavy pellets, should shop replace? adjust?

I've heard of examples where people have spent 4 figures on a new air rifle which have been factory adjusted, tested and certified with standard pellets, only to then chrono it at home with heavier pellets (177 JSB Heavy and Hades seem a common test) and find power levels can creep small (~5%)...

    Daily Hello Thread

That reminds me that I really must service mine - I've been doing it for 3 years now to save money and the hassle of finding slots at the garage - getting off my arse and getting on with it is another thing! Daily Hello Thread

Picked up a .177 Brocock Ghost+ for my second rifle. I have only been shooting for one year but quickly came to learn the limitation of my Remington Mammoth. Is the Kral Empire XS a good rifle? I want something really short and stealthy.

I've been thinking of getting a new rifle. I think that the Kral Empire XS looks absolute superb in the laminate finishes and the ultra short design is perfect for ratting out of my bedroom window - my current PCP is too long/unwieldly and requires hanging out of the window which is sure to end...

    Daily Hello Thread

Evening. After much deliberation I finally got myself a rifle again after 12-13 years of not shooting. I kept coming back to this idea over the last couple of years so I finally caved and done it. It's nice to see such an active and UK-focused forum. I'll hopefully have my own thread started...
