    Hunting Bakers Dozen

Good session tonight for me and my mate, bosses will be pleased with the results as well as they have just had a £40k bill for forklift truck damage caused by rats.

    Hunting Another 4 rats

Not the St Valentines day massacre I was hoping for 😩 but another 4 rats fall victim to the .22 P15 on a bitterly cold night 👍

    HW80 .22 Valuation

Evening I have been tasked to move this on for the owner but because of its condition we have no idea on what it's worth. The owner is a farmer and like most farmers anything and everything is a tool to do a job so it does have some cosmetic damage to the stock in various places - dings, dents...

    Hunting Disappointing Session

Bitterly cold here tonight minus 2 with a brisk breeze coming across the fields. If I had some sense I probably should of stayed indoors and it was a disappointing start to the year with only these 2 willing to come out and play.

    Hunting Rats again

Another 8 last night and nice to get a couple of youngsters too. I didn't get a shot off my shooting companion with his Katran and Pard thermal was in the right place at the right time.

    Hunting More rats again

Very windy conditions and torrential rain didn't stop us shooting inside again tonight and quite a good return for 5 hours work - 5 recovered and 3 MIA making 8 in total. I must take a tape measure with me as some of them tonight were huge.

    Hunting More Rats

Literally just got in from shooting, filthy night so was pleased to be shooting indoors. Quiet night not much about but 4 shot with 1 MIA hence only 3 in the picture 👍

940nm IR torch - who uses one

So I got the torch off ebay last week as I felt as soon as I switched on the built in IR on my Pard rats legged it. Now I was expecting a 940nm torch to have a light purple / lilac colour glow but mine is a dull red - is this right ?

    Hunting Night shoot #3

As I feared the rats have really sussed us out now and as soon as my Pard IR was switched on they scarpered so I think very fortunate to end up with 1 mouse and 6 rats and 3 MIA. The last 3 hours of our session I spotted for my mate and he shot his his FX Dreamline and Pard thermal scope. I was...

    Hunting Night shoot #2

Back at them last night, 11 recovered and another 6 MIA in the maze of pallets that is at work. Rats very wary now so tonight's shoot will be the last one until they have regained a bit of confidence and we will give them another bashing next month 👍

    Hunting Night shoot #1

A good start last night 17 recovered and 6 MIA which I'm hoping will turn up today when pallets are moved about. Nice to get some youngsters and one of the bigger ones in the pic was a very pregnant female. Let's hope tonight is just as productive.

    Hunting Wish me luck

I work for a company that produces wild bird food for B&M, Home Bargains, RSPB plus their own range of different wild bird foods and one offs for smaller companies. I am lucky enough to shoot there so I provide a bit of support for a pest control company that have the contract to keep any...

Non AO scope for Pard ???

I was always led to believe you had to have an AO scope when using a Pard clip on 007 model with it. Curiosity was getting the better of me after reading an online review of a T-Eagle 2 x 28 compact scope mated with a Pard. It's a scope I have had in the past and although some people will say...

    Hunting Rats

The aftermath of storm Amy didn't stop me getting out Saturday night and it didn't stop the rats coming out either. 17 shot and 13 recovered with the other 4 unable to retrieve and it was nice to get some youngsters too.

    Spina 2.5 - 10 x 32 SFIR Great with a Pard 007

I bought this recently off Amazon which was then ordered directly from the factory in China. Bit of confusion at the start as to the actual weight of the scope - one post said 400g another said 600g. I did really want to order a T-Eagle from PQARA but they were out of stock and on order with no...

    Hunting Summer Shooting Gloves

Can anybody recommend a pair of grippy shooting gloves in either camo or olive drab colour please. Some I have worn in the past felt like I was holding a wet bar of soap when handling my rifle, thanks.

    Scope for HFT

Looking for a scope for target and HFT ( hopefully ) had set my heart on a Vector Veyron 10 x 44 as I like the compact size, the price, and the fact that of I do HFT its fixed mag so one less thing to worry about. Had a look through one last night and OMG I wouldn't be able to use one the...

    Break barrel springer for HFT

I know the TX200 and HW97 rule the roost in this category but can you be semi competitive with a break barrel. I read somewhere on the forum that @Frog uses a .177 HW99 so what would be the best route ? A HW98 or a HW99 in a CS stock ?
