I found this thread randomly about crown polishing if it's of any help. There is loads of advice regarding polishing.

Clean up the crown with a brass screw head and while you're at it, give the bore a good polish with some autosol.

Ahhh the old 'torque it till it strips, then back it off 1/4 turn' lol. To be honest I've never stripped any mounts and the BKLs are usually very good. Have they changed the specs at all recently?

I suspect you are referring to Moa and Mrad. https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/kbase/article/view/id/85/ They are just different units of measurement for achieving the same result (hopefully). Mainly depends on your own personal preference for base 10 or imperial.
