It seems to me (in my very limited experience) that most springers were originally designed for more output that non FAC are allowed, resulting in less than desirableshot cycles etc ? What, if any, were designed specifically for sub 12ftlb, other than the likes of hw30, and are still available?

Hi, I'm a bit new to all of this, but wanted to know people's experiences with hard gun cases. Does the foam padding inside do any harm to the air rifle? The reason I ask is that in the weihrauch manual it says to wrap the gun in plastic if putting it in a case. Seems a bit of a faff?
