Second stage break point will be identical. First stage travel may be slightly different, but that's just a case of adjusting the tab in front of the trigger blade. Fit the new trigger weight screw, as this is shorter and doesn't conflict with the new blade.

Agreed as stated by @P8X. I don't personally own a HFT, but i use my mates on a regular basis. He dropped down in weight from JSB 8.44gr to the express 7.9gr

When you're zeroed in @ 15m, is your parallax set to that distance if you have it on the scope?

The pro sport is a better quality gun in my opinion. But if you are planning on using a springer for hft, then the 97 would be my choice. I don't abuse any of my under levers but the pro sport always gets the gently gently treatment. I couldn't imagine taking it out on a hft. Wrong i know...
