Hw 100 Bullpup - A Review

A trip to the local range to get the pard zeroed and work out my holds see this actually shot very well again, once zeroed I started to test the holds and even at the 50yd bell I was dropping them in every shot.

Its now called ‘Quasie’ for obvious reasons and will start work Saturday night.
They are ugly but just a great tool, I've had loads of PCP's in the past but always come to the conclusion that in sub 12 fpe you don't need more than a hw100 or s410f.
The hw100 bullpup in .177 is the only PCP I currently own, fully ratworks tuned and cerakoted cylinder and barrel.

Well Ive had a night out with it and no issues, seems as accurate as the Akela but I did have a couple of runners and didn’t shoot up in rafters as its .177.

Now the problem is I had halfhour with my mates R5m.25 and its sooooo nice, the best rat stopper Ive ever shot. So now Im thinking a .25 or at least a calibre kit for the Kral

Might keep the 100bp as it genuinely is the first hw100 thats been good

I am so close to buying one of these. Bought a Kral Empire X, but after lots of research on upgrades my though process is "I should have bought a better gun in the first place" So now toying between a used Hw100Bp and a used Daystate Renegade. I don't do any hunting, only play around at our local range so I know a Bullpup isn't the ideal gun for me, but I just like them so much!

You will miss the shotcount, its one thing that niggles me with the 100, not sure with the DS

Great review, I went into my local shop to buy a £500 starter package and came out with a 177 regular BP with an MTC scope😬.
It’s set up for hunting so not totally ideal but an absolute laser beam for me and my 8 year old son.
The bullpup is a great choice for us both as he gets on well with the shorter stock and we are now both addicted so a great father/son thing to do!

I had no idea there was even such a thing as a Kate Winslet Industry test lol...
Great review though, whether one prefers a BP platform or not it's a HW at the end of the day and will shoot and handle well. I'm angling towards the KT version myself!

Thanks for posting that from the old forum. Very kind of you.
It’s an old post but thought you’d like to know I found it very informative and enjoyable to read- to the extent that I’ve just bought one in the sales section and I’m now waiting with baited breath for it to arrive….
Thanks also to AGF 17

What pellets do your hw100 like in .177 like please, I've got some jsb heavy 10.34 to try in mine when it comes back from being fixed for leaks, I haven't found a pellet which is really good in it yet, There was a chap down the club who had the hw100 rifle and he could not get it to be 100 per cent.

Most of my HW100’s are not pellet fussy but I’m working my way through a batch of JSB Diabolo 4.53 with my KS and it’s absolutely spot on with them.

Great review, I have the standard HW100BP and it has been very accurate from day one and 100% reliable, used primarily for pest control these days which seems a bit of a waste for such a good rifle.

That’s what they’re made for mate.

My100bp was a wee bit fussy and indoors we found the JSB strattons excellent but outside they take wind poorly, I never actually got it shooting as Id of liked at 40-50yds hunting so I lent the gun to a mate last year and I’ve only recently sold it to him, I don’t think I’ll ever be happy with any Bullpup after selling the Cricket 🤐

I really must have loved this review lol, I have just spent an hour trying to refined it after I had read it without being signed in, so system would not allow me to comment..... "I know I'm just a rusty old dipstick"!

Anyway back to what I wanted to say, loved the review, it made me smile, it was simply a great read, and I am now considering adding one to my growing NW collection.... but that's it, no more, I am already on rocky ground with "she who must be obeyed"!!!

Well done AGF17, keep up the grand work.

Very good revew. I all so have one still in the box . They are very short and i find it hard to stay on target. I am to old. I think i will trade it for the fx dsr when i can get round to it
