I don't have enough kidneys unfortunately πŸ˜•

Thats it though? An investment, a museum piece or a 'trophy' to be hung on a millionaire's wall.

Its nice and I kinda get its value (rarity dictates its worth what someone will pay for it) but sorry I just find it vulgar.
Making peices of art out of functioning firearms just comes across as a paradox to me.

Sculptures (like a fallen soldier made from scrapped military arms) yes, but these pieces come across as highly gifted craftsman showing off.

An acquaintance of mine showed me pics of a rifle commissioned by a Saudi Prince that he is once a year employed to take from storage and service, then return to storage.
It is exquisite and cost 6figures (Euros) but again just vulgar and a showpiece.

πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ maybe its just me but I dont get it?

An item like this is always bound to divide opinion Bob, i suppose it's just like a lot of folk wouldn't really understand why people would pay astronomical sums of money for a old master, or sculpture to hang on the wall or shelf just to look at - similar thing?
I think that we are all aware just how much our American friends like this sort of thing, particularly when it comes to their firearms history, and the desire for pieces like this never seems to diminish :)

It's just to say "I've got it", and if it's to sell on again in 20yrs then why not just put your money in gold and let someone else enjoy using it.
