So now that IHunter are defunct, has anyone found an alternative outlet for RTX pellets by Rifle?

I can't seem to find anyone stocking them. I did see a page on the SMK website that showed them being stocked, but now that too has disappeared.

I've used them quite a while now, they were very competitive priced and shot better than my qys streamlined and we're a fraction of the cost. My HFT500 shoots pellet on pellet with both the medium and the heavy pelleys

Not the ones your looking for but I just realised I have a tin 😂

Yeah, as I sais in my original post trade only, bummer. My local shop deals with SMK direct. We went through their latest catalogue and although it shows on their website they're not in the catalogue, and a phone call to them confirmed they don't import them anymore.

Nowhere I can find, I'm afraid - looks like Wicked is the only retailer this side of the equator ... and they only deliver inside the EU / EEA and um, well. I'm not getting on my soap box :P

Worth sticking around and asking in the Wanted section when you pass 50 posts, I don't doubt there'll be many hundreds of tins lying around on folks' shelves!

SMK don't import them any longer but apparently Hawke are going to take up the importation and distribution.

As of yet, though, I can't see any evidence of them having taken a shipment and distributed any stock.

It's a shame they're so hard to get hold of as they're on a par with qys and jsb but a fraction of the cost. I did a pellet test a few weeks ago and they outperformed everything I tried

I'm just trying to work out the VAT on 3.5 tonnes of pellets

Alright I'll bite

  • Each pellet @ 0.54g assuming heavies
  • 500 per tin so 270g
  • I have scales and an empty tin on my desk because I'm a fully hinged functioning adult and it weighs 18.38g so let's call it 290g per tin
  • It's Actual Gross Weight so that includes the weight of the van and the driver. The 3.5 Tonne (gross, not curb) ford transit can carry 1472kg at 90% fuel, and that has to include the driver and any other bits. So let's say we have 1,350Kg to work with
  • 1,350,000 g / 290 g = 4,655.172
  • 4,655 tins of pellets @ €9.00 (assuming no bulk discount but that would be very cruel!) = €41,895
  • At current exchange, that's £36,272.53
  • France operates a 20% VAT so 36,272.53 / 5 = £7,254.51

Go on, do it coward
