Just wondering about replacing the standard cylinder with a lighter one , anyone have any suggestions/recommendations
Cheers Rich

Ratworks aluminium or hw100 tuning titanium are goto options. If just for wieght saving you can use ends from your current cylinder. Or go whole hog and fit reg to increase shot count, as both cylinders able to run at 250 bar!..

Ratworks cylinder clears the standard HW100 silencer

I’ve got a HW100 tuning titanium cylinder on mine, used the original ends. Some said it wasn’t worth the weight saving but I’d disagree, it’s noticeable and definitely moves the balance point back, which I prefer.

Unless you’re range shooting or on huge numbers of rats the shot count ought to be OK, I get about 60 in .20 calibre. If you are range/bench shooting then there are better tools for the job anyway.

I have a full length titanium cylinder with ends so I can swap from one to the other
When standing and shooting the difference is very noticeable between Ti and steel
but remember, without buying and changing a couple of bits, they can still only hold the same amount of air
but by fitting those parts you can increase the fill from 200 bar to 250bar.

Will need a complete cylinder, can anyone confirm whether the Ratworks cylinder has a valve at the block end so that it can be removed with air in it. This is to replace the current A&m one

i got the HW100 Tuning titanium cylinder, OEM ends fitted, when I sent the rifle to them for a service and upgrade. Getting about 100 shots from a 200 bar fill for a .20 KT FSB. Got the larger capacity cylinder fitted but it's lighter than the original and, as said, it does improve the handling by moving the balance point rearwards.
I've not checked the HW100 Tuning site for ages but the titanium cylinder availability was scarce for quite a while.
Found them a good outfit to deal with and the work they did has stood the test of time and use. Probably now jinxed it, having said that!!!

I bought mine from them via their eBay shop, I think the price was the same, but that’s a lot easier to navigate…
