Reximax mito silencer

@PartTimeLegend mine arrived today, Impressed!
I think the gold goes well with the wood grips and the orange will stand out against the black tactical 💪

I’ve avoided wood so far in my firearms and now my air guns. That was until yesterday when I bought a Lieva. I am becoming quite the fan of these cheap Reximex offerings.

The Lieva looks a good laugh, glad I haven't the air rifle cabinet space, could put in my 12g cab but not my cup of tea, don't have the blazing saddles outfit 😄

Reximex maybe well under the air gun premium prices and can be a bit variable on QC but I wouldn't class them as cheap in terms of bad.
I have a Pretensis .22 and a Lyra .177 both are very capable.

Had to have a go with the SUB with a bit more punch behind it, while it looks a bit wrong, it moderated rather well :)

That looks so cool! I should have said inexpensive rather than cheap.

I have been using air rifles for a little under 3 years but I first shot a firearm 30+ years ago. So I’m still unsure on what things are good.

I have an Air Arms S510 Tactical which I’ve bolted everything I can to it. Got an air stripper on it now which takes it to around 110dB. Super accurate and so I can get tight groupings. Got a bit bored of 2cm spread at 50yrds and wanted something a bit fun. Though I believe these are accurate at that point. Got to figure out if I want to scope it or keep the notch sights.

I have a Twink on mine at the moment and it works quite well, I've got one inbound from PartTimeLegend so I'm looking forward to that as I think the Twink looks a bit too big for the gun.

The standard for capturing sound level for me would the REED R8030 but for the sake of checking air rifles you could probably use a phone app with relative accuracy. Depends on if you’re doing a professional set up or not and what your budget is.

Phone apps the most accurate I’ve seen is NiOSH https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/niosh-sound-level-meter/id1096545820 it is normally within a couple of dB of any equipment. However it does suffer from accuracy issues over about 150dB but that’s hearing loss territory anyway.

Glad to see everyone is getting theirs delivered. My post office all know me so well these days with all the models I’ve been sending off.

I’m running low on stock now and as these are going as cheap as I can I won’t be making more. So when they’re gone that’s going to be it I’m afraid.

I have all colours left except grey. Though most are down to 1 or 2 left.

They’re 1/2” UNF so should fit most air guns. I always use a bit of silicone grease on my threads. The same stuff I use on my printers. Stops them getting stuck.

How did you do the barrel band for the bipod? I have a picatinny rail design but I’m struggling to keep it locked in place. I made it in PLA and it’s worn quickly. I’ll give PETG a go but I’m not sure it will fair much better.

I really like the BobP stock. Shame he’s decided to stop making them.

This is the original ebay item, which like yours, doesn't remain in place (slides about). I'm currently exploring an alternative with another vendor.

Apologies it’s been one of those weeks and I’m realising I’ve already spoken to you about this.

I was thinking I might try some of the glue tape I put golf club grips on with. Only issue is that it would become semi permanent. I’m looking at ways to keep weight down for one handed pistol shooting. Will be attempting my first barrel shroud soon. Got it just under 30g and I have a skeletonised grip made too. Will be open sights only though.

There’s a snap on version I’ve seen on eBay that I was hoping to do something similar to originally.

My issue is I’m not so good at CAD. Most modelling I do is in OpenSCAD as I’m a software developer by trade. Does mean if I get it working it’s normally easy to modify to fit anything though.

I only have two printers and they’re both currently running two halves of a 3 day print that’s due to complete tomorrow morning. I’ll play around and see what works b

Received the moderator on Monday but couldn’t get the Silent Force moderator off of the threaded adapter so had to order a new one.
That came today so looking forward to trying out next time I’m at the club.
Like Shy Steve I went with red.
Thanks @PartTimeLegend !!
Got to try the moderator today.
Woah. It is so quiet. I shot a couple of shots with the Mito without the moderator first (the guy in the lane next to me commented how loud it was then put it on. He then said how it quiet it was). And he was right.
It’s very light too which is nice for balancing the pistol.
Thanks again @PartTimeLegend
