Picked up my 35 special edition this afternoon (.22, number 15). Light’s fading fast for decent pictures, so a teaser will have to suffice for now. Despite the price over the standard 35e, I’m happy…

Would probably benefit from a little more, but (like the last new 35e I bought) it’s not too bad in terms of the factory oil finishing.

That's a pretty hunk o' walnut...hopefully the grain through the wrist is as it should be.

Thankfully yes - though you can’t see in the above photo, the grain straightens through the hand quite nicely, so I’m happy it’s strong in the right places.That's a pretty hunk o' walnut...hopefully the grain through the wrist is as it should be.
