Single shot..Launch errors - is yours single shot or magazine?
The pellet probe is likely trying to chamber the slug at a jaunty angle, which is why some airgun makers offer slug probes. In addition, accuracy can be lost from the slug not being pressed partly into the rifling prior to launch - due to a gap between the slug and the start of the rifling. By dropping the slug in like you're doing, the slug is likely getting caught by the rifling, where it should ideally be launched from.Single shot..
Reminds me of the lynch mob that rode outa dodge with burning torches in the dead of night when a few members started liking tactical style air rifles .I have to say I do feel there is a certain negative undertone to the replies in this thread. Which I find odd. Like people don't approve of someone trying their best, indeed going above and beyond, to find some definitive answers to a question many people are curious about.
I find I am a bit sad and ashamed and not like the usual friendly AGF attitude. It's hardly encouraging is it![]()
