I have just joined the 'shot my Chrono' club

After hitting a Combro twice, I thought I'd buy a larger, harder to hit chrono. Then one day, my brother called me and asked if I'd test his S200 for him. Everything went fine, then he said "got an M4 BB gun, wonder what that's doing". Turns out it doesn't shoot straight, and now the display doesn't work properly. Managed to get a cable to connect it to my phone, and it actually works better now.

I've told the story of the brand new club one at Hurn before. It was set up to great fanfare on a tripod about 5 m in front of the firing point with all the shooters present watching in eager anticipation.
The shooter given the great honour of putting the first shot over the club's first ever chronograph proudly stepped forward. That was when it all went wrong....
Two small errors:-
A) he thought you needed to get close to the sensors
B) neglected the fact the scope on his rimmy was zero'ed at 25m

Yep! First shot he nailed it with a .22 LR

My home made chrono was made after I read of experts who had shot several.
It has indeed been shot.
Twice.
And it was designed to be repairable.
The photo shows how I managed to shoot it, and the repair to the case with the hole filled. (I also had to replace the LEDs behind).
Short air tubes are a disaster as when you put the tube onto the rest, the barrel goes just a touch too high....
Does this qualify for the badge of shame?

I have raised the front a tiny fraction with sticky pads to protect the rear sensor. I have then tested it against the results of the injured one and they are pretty similar based on one pellet of AA Field through 6 different guns

How do I switch it to fps please?

When FPS appears on screen, you need to press the button

You don't have these problems with a flamethrower.
