I'm looking for recommendations for a better moderator compared to the one that comes as standard with the r1 clx pro carbon which is pretty damn quiet from standard in my opinion. I've looked at Donny's etc but would like to hear from people who have changed their moderator for a particular brand on this rifle and their personal opinions on the results please?

Forget Donny, I have three of the latest for different rifles, there expensive rubbish (a fool and his money are easily parted) as they say.!!!

An a&m will only fit if you have the longer barrel. I had an a&m marksman on my r10 super carbine and it sat over the bottle, it was REALLY quiet though. You’ll also lose the standard shroud if you change to an aftermarket mod.
If you do go a&m, go for the carbon option, twink c or nelix, they’ll go well with the carbon bottle.

I’ve just checked, an a&m wont actually fit. Your gun only came with the longer barrel, but the bottle is still past the end of it. You’ll only be able to use something the same diameter as the standard mod. Maybe someone on here, or ratworks can do a shroud rather than just a mod.

Ratworks do a shroud to fit.
