Yes i know our American brothers like a Cryptid story BUT have you seen the reports of the attack on the woman.
She was attacked in broad daylight by a animal she said was "doglike"
Very serious attack , was reported than many muscles were ripped away. she is serious in hospital.
a local sheriff said he as not seen a animal attack like this in his 30 years.
most of her clothes were ripped off, these have been sent for dna testing.
All the usual animals in that area have been ruled out, some saying it would have to of been a big cat BUT she said dog like!
All very weird, the hum is its a "dogman" and it will be covered up because YES the government know about this.
They are saying if the clothing samples get lost in transit or results are inconclusive it shows a cover up.
it happened in a rural area i believe (place escapes me) and thet know what wildlife is around,i mean most hunt and have fire arms.
it is interesting but a awfull attack

Not sure how accurate I would be in distinguishing a cat from a dog if a big animal was attacking me, personally.

Given that we know there are pumas in the USA and only unsubstantiated claims about "dog man" or similar then my money is on "big cat" - assuming that a wolf can be discounted.

Or maybe this ?

Blanco, Oklahoma is only ~ 30 miles from where I lived for a year ( just southwest , a bit, of McAlester, Ok.) ... My money is on a Mountain Lion & that she ( the unfortunate lady) was probably in estrus. It's happened in California, a few times to females jogging on mountain trails. I had a neighbor lady here, some years back, shook to death & torn up a bit, by a stud horse...Jill was on her period as well. Rest her soul.☹️

Thus speaks the voice of sanity. 👍

Wanna hear the damnedest thing....? I just Googled further into the report on the attack. The Pittsburgh County sheriff( county of said attack), is none other than a fella I went 5th grade with , in Haywood, Oklahoma - Frankie McClendon ! Small world !
That'll be the six degrees of separation in action

When I was a young soldier we were training on a training area in Germany. All vehicles were parked at the far side of the accommodation in the battle camp.

Two of my mates had parked up and came running back looking really scared. They said they had been chased by two large cats which the couldn't recognise as wild cats but much bigger than pussy cats. They had the urine taken for months after and then again when we trained in the same place the next year.

We never did find out what the cats were, the days before the internet in your pocket.

I can’t find any real news report online for this story…
Here is one attack recently.

The only thing i found odd is, unlike us only having the dangerous badger ,in the US they seem to know whats around in that area.
Wolf, coyotte, bobcat etc etc.... but the local police said they had never seen injuries like it.
I do not for one minute think its a warewolf/dogman/skinwalker think a bigfoot as been mentioned as attacker Head bang 65 but will love to find out what it was.
One official source(thats where it gets iffy) says packs of dogs have been seen, locals say thats rubbish.

I know this lady had very bad injuries ONLY going by what i have seen/heard on local news etc BUT even though she was hurt bad
she had the ability to talk and say doglike, all the feline animals never really look like dogs.
It did knock her down from behind like a cta would do BUT see did see it face on.
Also a "expert" was talking about how certain animals attack and places there bit etc, cats go for neck and throt, bears head etc.
her injuries again was not "cat" like, going by reports.
I suppose being in wild animal save UK this sort of stuff is interesting.
Bet we will never hear a definate out come.
I also do not think its the government hy-brid breeding programme some of mentioned. She said she heard a voice shout but no one as come forward as seeing the attack? so the people who know have said these hy-brids are taken out by handlers!
Once again,i am not thinking its any of the above.

I, myself was speculating as well. Cats as you say, are indeed ambush hunters & generally from behind, shock & trauma of an attack, can play tricks on the mind... Bears, Black bears, as would be present in Oklahoma, unless a momma with/ protecting cubs, are generally more into avoiding people ( we have Black bears in my locale, as well). Dog ??? As earlier mentioned though, I'm on board with a mountain lion... I'm verrrrrryyyy skeptical of " hybrid breeding" programs.

The
"I've never seen anything like it"
shtick comes up every time there is some allegedly "paranormal" incident - aliens or whatever, the claims are usually very similar.
Often invoking some alleged Police / Secret / Military / Ex Military / Official / Un Official etc source. . . . . .

Presumably most people in any rural area have some idea of what wildlife is likely to be around - don't they?
Not least farmers in a farming area are likely to know their local predators???

Initially I found a You Tube video of some guy speaking very slowly with long pauses - presumably in an attempt to instill some "gravitas" into the nonsense.
(Made David Lammy sound like an auctioneer on Amphetamines in comparison!)
Tragically,I could not find it again to do a proper link.

🙁;)🙁

Count me as extremely unconvinced!

Some of you might find this amusing?

Me?
Nah, life's too short.

Boogey man stories stopped frightening me once I was grown up enough to walk to school alone.

Not convinced by "Cos play" wannabes or wobbly cameras either.

This provides a bit more info:

The sister said it was a dog attack, and when the woman was found injured, the dog was still there. It seems this little detail was left out of the news story…

Interesting link, thank you.

Quote, edited by me
"On March 29th, my sister-in-law Alicia was found horribly mauled by a dog. We were told The homeowners discovered her unconscious and bloody, with the dog still present. When she was able to whisper that she had heard a deep growl as she was walking up to the gate something pounced on her. It was dog like, but she did not specify it was a dog. After that, she recalls only hearing yelling and a gunshot possibly. After the news of the story went on Fox News my brother found out that the investigation was started that they had taken parts of her clothing to do DNA testing because some of her wounds were not consistent of a dog bite. We are still waiting results".
