Standing down

Mate im sure when and if you feel that your wanting to be back as a mod you will be --you do need to take time for yourself otherwise you ware yourself down and the enjoyment go's --Thank you for your time and guiding help when it has been asked for and needed

Well chaps, from the end of this month I am stepping down as a moderator on this fine forum. My fellow mods are aware and I just wanted to say what a pleasure and a privilege it has been to work alongside such a great group of blokes.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the team and I take my hat off to them all for their tireless and, sometimes, thankless work. Special mention has to go to Pete (Ganton Gunner), one of the kindest and most generous men I have ever met. If members knew the time and effort Pete puts into the running and growth of the forum they would be gobsmacked.
Over the last few months I have found it more and more difficult to fit in modding with my daily life and for a good while now I have not been at the forefront. It was a hard decision to quit but I've made it now and hope I don't regret it.
I've made some great friends over the years (and a few enemies) but when a hobby becomes a chore it's time to call it a day. I'll remain as a member and will still contribute when I can.
So, thanks to all the members who have made my time as a mod a real pleasure and to the one's that haven't, SCREW YOU 😂

Thank you for your help and efforts on the forum. A thankless task no doubt! Now back to an ordinary life!!
 
As a former moderator on a motorcycle forum, I appreciate only too well what it means. Thank you for all your work and I hope that stepping back reignites the passion for the hobby.
