That... is very pretty. The new Reximex Pretensis K.

I do like a 'K'.
I have a Puncher and was waiting to see what these came out like. Very nice. Lets see how they perform methinks....

It's a really nice looking rifle - hope it performs as well as it looks.

I was pestering RR last year for them to request a K version from Reximex so I'm claiming this as my idea...do I get a free one?!

Also pestered them to start doing a Forest Green laminate version too...

Noticed a few places selling it are listing it as a 'carbon bottle'. Is that just a bad copy and paste from another listing or is it actually a carbon tube? Also stated as 260cc which is the same as the full-length version? Is the cylinder a larger diameter to keep the volume the same with the shorter length?

Looking forward to your review @Big Dan.

Dan, serious question, do you believe there is enough wood in the fore end for it to be routed to accept a section of UIT rail?
I was thinking the same thing - looks like there's plenty of depth. Lots of very (nervous) shallow passes to avoid tear-out and I reckon that'd be a decent way to avoid that chunky plastic pic rail that tends to swivel.

Might be a typo as it most certainly isn't a carbon bottle, it's a standard metal cylinder.

I like to pretend I gave them the idea for the Lyra K, Puncher K and the Pretensis K as I'd been harping for years for them. It's probably not the case of course but it makes me feel better!

Many may disagree but I think this might just be one of if not the prettiest PCP on the market today.

As you all probably know I'm not really a PCP man but this talks to me. The Turkish manufacturers have really stepped up their game lately especially with the latest batch of carbines (Lyra K, Puncher K and now the Pretensis K). I've got a Pretensis K with me now and if anything the stock might be even prettier than the one on the images here. The Pretensis K is regulated and the reg sits at a somewhat sensible pressure (95bar on mine here).

In the shoulder it feels almost as light as the Lyra K but to me it feels more natural/comfortable. It feels much lighter than the Puncher K. According to RR it's just about 6lbs, length: 35".

I feel I may be filming one of these soon if my blackmail/threats/begging with Range Right is successful. I'm not yet at the point of sacrificing a goat but it's an option.
Ticka all the boxes for me in the looks department and a nice bit of Walnut,I've a Pretensis and as a gun its great value for money but I don't like the pellet probe set up with the open access(if you get me) when you cock the gun,i think that is a very poor design but thats just my thoughts.

Certainly one of the best looking new guns I have seen in a while. Lose the little bit of Picatinny rail, and add a forward barrel mount and it would be better. I know a fully floating barrel is technically better, but aesthetically it just looks wrong to me...
Or a benchrest plate.

Thanks, didn't think it would be. Is the diameter the same as the full length?

Alright then, we'll claim half each!

It is a nice looking gun but the figuring on that wood is better than just about any other Reximex I've seen. You play the Turkish walnut lottery whenever you buy a Reximex sight-unseen but there are far more losers than winners in that game. But you never know, it could be you!

I had a full size regulated Pretensis last year and it was a really solid gun for the price point, powerful, accurate and consistent shot to shot. Ok, the trigger was crap but my reference point for a good trigger is an Anschütz 9015. I could have loved with the trigger, unfortunately the constant leaks were another thing entirely.

It will s certainly easy on the eye. When I heard pretensis k I pictured a bottle gun in my mind for some reason

You can see why Turkish guns are becoming more popular, they certainly look the part especially for the money.
I'd need to try rhe trigger first and know it's adjustable to a good setting, as good as my Mito is the trigger was a baptism of fire from the off.
