How is best fittings customer service generally?

Hi all,

I used BF once yonks ago and everything was fine.

Placed and paid for an order a couple of weeks back to find that one item that showed in stock in the website was out if stock.

After a few slow emails I agreed to wait for a restock but I am no longer getting updates/responses to emails and nobody ever answers the phone.

Is this par for the course for BF or are they just having a blip?

I ordered a few bits from them a few months back. One item which was showing as in stock was marked on the delivery sheet: to follow. As I'd got the most important bits I just cracked on and the additional item turned up about ten days later. I've ordered before with no issues whatsoever and to be fair it wasn't real problem waiting for that last item to arrive on this occasion. I guess they can't send out what is not physically in their possession.
 
Very good service i ordered over the phone delivered next day!
 
As a company there generally ok
I mean you order something and it's delivered within 48h.
Mind you IF you do have an issue with a delivery, or a question for them, they simply just don't answer
I don't bother with them these days, i just order elsewhere even if the cost is more or it takes longer to get here.
Supplying goods in a timely manner is one thing but i need a company to reply to questions if they want my business.
I must have sent 10 plus msg/questions over the years, NONE were answered.
9 out of 10 for quality/delivery times
0 out of 10 for communication
