No such thing as a “seagull” but all the variants of gulls can be a nuisance !

i know how magpies take the eyes out of a rabbit to stop it running, but your dogs look like they have enough terrier type to deal with the threat i would leave them out side and when the magpie gets to close you wont have a problem any more .and you wont have risked any wrong doing by you

I try not to stand on them at all
I’ve heard the best way to dissuade seagulls from entering your garden is with a voodoo doll, of course you’ll need a lock of its hair and one of its teeth for it to work

Trouble is these my two are a couple of wimps, and other problem is the killing of the little song birds, magpies are horrible birds
If you can show proof , you might get a special license for shooting them but I doubt you would get one if it covers your dogs as they are mostly for protecting humans from attack .

Ok so any one know what’s the punishment is if I shoot them, what’s the jail time do I serve with rapists, pedophile’s , terrorist, cos I shoot a pigeon or a magpie?
You can get an unlimited fine and up to 6 months in prison if you do not act under a licence when carrying out an activity that needs one.

It would also put you on a section 21 and you can't own an airguns for 5 years or life if you get a longer sentence .
Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968 prohibits individuals with prior criminal convictions resulting in custodial sentences of 3 months or more from possessing firearms or ammunition. Bans last 5 years for sentences under 3 years and a lifetime for 3 years or more, including airguns and deactivated weapons.
Key Aspects of Section 21 Prohibition
- Sentence Length & Duration:
- 3 years or more: Lifetime ban.
- 3 months to < 3 years: 5-year ban from the date of release.
- Suspended sentences (3+ months):
5-year ban starting from the second day after the sentence is passed.

The simple answer is you dont do it, full stop. Ig you shoot then you should be responsible, and not pop away at anything you see.
Bear in mind that if yo uare fund to be doing it, its a few years you wont get bacxk, and a fine to make your eyes water. But again, dont. Last person to do that on here was banned sharpish as I remeber- this si a forum to promote airgunning, not turn people against us.
