Condensed version

Gen 1 (Silver safety and mag release) Had power loss issues
Gen 2 (Black safety and mag release) Doesnt seem to have old power issues

HW100, Metal block, easier to load mags, costs more, I'm hearing a lot of people at my range and on here are having leaking issues
HW110, Ballistic pollymer block, Soft touch stock will go sticky if you dont keep it out of direct sunlight and maintain it, because of the previous 2 its cheaper. Mags are fiddlier to load but theres a knack to it and you get used to it.

In short, theres no difference accuracy wise between the two. HW110 is at a more accessible price for people

I have had one for 9 years. Once it wouldn't cock for no apparent reason but that fixed itself and had no problems since. Its very accurate and have been very happy with it so far.

First pcp I bought, very accurate, I have the sporter and recently bought the K, no issues, nuff said.
As mentioned, the mag system is a bit of a faff, but I shoot left handed so better for me.
The sporter is quite heavy, but balances well when shouldered.
The K is a featherweight in comparison 😉👍
Good Luck 👍

I have the 110 ST and I absolutely love it. Lightweight in comparison to my RM8, looks amazing, like a laser once it’s been dialled in and the whole cocking and rifling system is effortless.

Inserting the magazine can be a bit fiddly to begin with, but you soon get used to it. I’ve never had any issues with power etc. Consistently shoots in the 11 ft/lbs.

I have the 110 with a laminated stock, bought it on offer 18 months ago. I have been over the moon with it! It’s in .177 will shoot most pellets well and is used mostly for plinking, excellent rifle. I can not recommend it enough 👌
I also have the 100 and that is also a great rifle but obviously dearer, I would not be without either. Both are very accurate, not pellet fussy and quiet. The 110 is excellent for hunting too but I would buy the synthetic stock if this was the main purpose.

Power drop is easily sorted if it occurs (replacement hammer spring). It's been on the market for 10 years so any significant issues with the action (which is almost identical to the HW44 pistol) would have surfaced by now. Negative comments typically seem to come from people who haven't owned one. The carbine version does have rather a low shot count.

Had mine (.177, rifle) nearly 4 years and still very happy with it. Used for pest control (rabbits & rats) and plinking. I was going to move it on after getting a new rifle a year ago but treated it to a laminate stock instead, which is a thing of beauty :D

I added a cheap aftermarket biathlon handle to make it easier to cock in the dark with gloves on :) It also had a titanium air cylinder fitted by HW100 Tuning - this is 315g / 11 oz lighter than the standard steel one, a noticeable difference if you're carrying it around for an evening!

Cracking gun to be honest. I’ve had mine just over three years.

I upgraded from a RM8 and while the RM8 was just as accurate, the HW110 fits me so much better, is lighter and the trigger is fantastic straight out of the box. I would buy another one without hesitation.

I may be tempted to buy a second gun in the future, possibly a Kral Puncher K as they are getting good reviews, but I keep putting it off after using the HW110 as it’s so good.

Hi Dave, I bought a 0.177 HW110 carbine in the soft touch black stock about 4 years ago and have used regularly for pest control since. I dealt with the power loss issue before it happened, I moved the cocking lever to the left hand side which makes loading a mag easy enough to do in the dark and cold, whilst wearing gloves. I had an extended titanium tube fitted to give 70 shots between fills and reduce weight further.

4 years on and I still think I made the right choice. There are lots of factors that make it the right for me and my shooting but that does not necessarily equate to suiting you. Tell us about how you plan to use it and why it is on your shortlist. That way you'll get more value I think.

hi Bish some good info there thanks, mainly for virgin on the fishing ponds, rats but mainly mink, didn't fancy using the rimfire, do believe the 110st is a new demo model

Had my HW110 ST .177 for 2 years and aside from my particular one being pellet fussy it's not dropped a beat. It gets an oiling and the ST stock gets wiped down with silicon oil spray on a cloth to keep it clean and its as supple as the day i bought it if not more.

Easily knocking 5p groups at 50m with Baracuda FT'a

they are a cracking looking gun, im a big fan of synthetic stocks, all my fac have them apart from my cz 22rimmy, this is getting difficult now just ad a message from someone eles saying go for the 110

I had one and it was the most accurate gun I had owned, traded it for the HW100 BP thinking I was getting an upgrade, no difference in accuracy or reliability and has been the same for both, perfect. Wish I had kept it, for me the 110 was nicer to shoot, not that there is anything wrong with the way the 100 shoots just me preferring the 110.

To be clear, the 'soft touch' HW110 has a normal wooden (beech) stock under the black coating.

The HW100 is available with a green synthetic stock:
