Hunting Badgers are top dog in the animal world. Very short video

Badgers have a good attitude to life, I reckon

"Leave me alone and you will be fine. Mess with me and you are likely to regret it"

What is Latin for
"F*** with me at you own risk?"

like pit bulls the way they walk, and have you seen what they do to hedgehogs 😤

Yes, it is a shame about the hedgehogs.
"Nature red in tooth and claw"
or something like that.

I wonder how many are killed by badgers compared to humans in various ways, not least driving over the poor beggars..

wiped/crunched up my entire population of hedgehogs maybe 4 or 5, also crushed in the skulls of my last remaining bunnies, all that remains is a badger that roams digging little holes everywhere and $h*itt1ng about the place 🤪, viscous things.... but thats mother nature for you

Yep, we're the same. Been here for 15 years and have always had hedgehogs in the garden. We put out food and would have five feeding together. Last year they just stopped coming and we had no idea why until a few weeks I started to find signs of badgers digging around the garden. Its good to know they're here but I don't really want them in the garden...and we miss the hedgehogs.

If a badger digs a run under a fence, a dog turd placed in it will stop the badger using it.

Never cease to amaze me how fast the little buggers can run with their short stump legs.

I had badger baiting going on
on a shoot of mine quite a few years back,
i managed to get the police out as i knew the local
PC covering farming matters, he arrived as baiters were leaving
,he got their reg number and the car was stopped later,
two men and their dogs were inside,
the dogs had a few bloody injuries , both men were arrested
and and later were heavily fined.

That carry on is absolutely horrendous for the dogs and the badger, glad they got caught 👍
