So where can someone get a Browning Hi Power from these days, everywhere I looked is out of stock, is that temporary or are they discontinued?
@Dan giliballs I found out that the manufacturer makes them in batches. So they do a run of one pistol, then they do another run of another so some pistols can be out of stock for a year or more until they refresh the lines and make more. I would have assumed they had lines of pistols in production all the time but that isn't the case apparently.
I am in the process of downsizing so would be willing to let mine go if you're interested.
John Moses browning’s unfinished masterpiece. (Saying something about most highly regarded gun designer in history) I loved firing it when it was in service. I used smile like. Cheshire catYes , the Browning Hi Power are quite something. Here's my early one, an 8mm blank firer. Comfortable and well ballanced in the hand. No wonder they were popular.

Browning would be 7.3 and would need to be a pre 45 example. It would also have to be kept a Bisley or one of a very small number of other 7.3 authorised facilities.I think there are a lucky few who have pistols like the Browning under section 7.3
Section 7.1 and 7.3 Heritage Pistol legislation.
These are very much restricted to a few sites up and down the country like Bisley but wow, if you could!!
