Fitted yesterday evening and arrived half an hour early at the range this morning to get goingGood luck, it’s a great scope for the money.
Glad to know that it’s working for you and that you are happy with it, it certainly is fantastic value for money and at the moment l can’t see myself needing anything else, ie a more expensive scope! I’ve kinda of settled on around 30x for the moment, until l find the best butt support.Fitted yesterday evening and arrived half an hour early at the range this morning to get going
Zeroed in less than 5mins and took at little time to get used to the high levels of magnification but after a few practise cards got it on full 40 x mag. Yes the reticle is very fine, I use spectacles for reading so re-adjusted everything with goggles on and it was perfect.
This scope is excellent value for money what an absolute joy to shoot with. I have no doubt their is better glass at 3-4 times the price out there but it is perfect for benchrest shooting. Illumination is nice also if required and easy to adjust up or down. The turrets are tight but a have nice click when adjusting. Using the 40 x mag I can see my heart beat so all I need to do now is stop breathing and lower my pluse rate to zerobefore any
trigger action

Ummm, interestingHad one which I was impressed with but for me the better option is the fixed 46x Minotaur
I expect I will also dial back to 30x over the coming weeks, new toy so had to take it to max to see what was possible.Ummm, interesting. Didn’t know about that one. However, not sure I’d be happy with such a high fixed magnification.
I agree and to honest 46 seem too much but then I’m new to the BR game.I can see the idea of using fixed magnification as it should stop any parallax error but I prefer to have the option of variable magnification.

I am always cautious of the Black Friday deals because its like a dumping day for the retailers to get rid of all stock thats either been returned several times or is just not up to spec. I have purchased myself and been lucky so far. Good news that you were able to return and upgrade to the T50i+. I will give mine a good workout over the coming weeks and if not happy will be shopping for the T50 alsoi got my vector sentinal for £130 in the black friday it developed a fault and i up graded it to the t50i+ rather than have the sentinal back i think its clearer i could not really use my sentinal above 35x so i think the t50i+ is clearer my sentinal did not have the illuminated recital .
the t50i+ is on offer most places for £450 but you have to buy mounts as well so your not far of £500 . after i ordered mine i looked at what other shooters were using and most had the sentinal ,and must of had no fault with theirs and be happy with them , mine was nether really a positive adjustment always a bit vague as to whether it had moved then would move later which you could live with if it stayed zeroed but mine must of been a one off dud. the adjustments one the t50i+ seem much more positive .
I’ve probably had half a dozen or more Vector scope and haven’t come across that particular problem. Just lucky l guess.Just be mindful that lots of Vector scopes will have overly still turret adjustments, I’ve sent 50% of mine back
Most of the time I’ve been told the loosen up but I really can’t be doing with shredding skin off my fingers while they bed in.
I love Vector scopes but they have this one annoying thing with their quality control imo
One Veyron I had required a tighter grip than Popeye on his gravy stroke to turn the bloody dial
Vector also have a Minotaur 12-60x60. The adjustable magnification helps with zeroing, but the high mag is the next step again. Worth a look if you get the chance.I agree and to honest 46 seem too much but then I’m new to the BR game.

I’ve got various Vector scopes but l gotta say the Cerato C3 is a fantastic little scope, especially for close up, say 5 yards, I have 3 of them one on my ratting S200.Or I’ve been very very unlucky
maybe the more expensive ones are much better built but some were listed as over £200 a pop so I would at least expect to be able to dial the distance in on it.
The 2 cheaper ones (Hugo) were perfect
2 Orions, one perfect, one usable a bit still (it was sent back and changed over)
Veyron went back twice, no word of a lie I had to use a cloth as the knurled dial was drawing blood - ridiculous
Grizzly & Marksman is perfect
Had 2 2-7x32’s one had a dodgy ret - exchanged for a brand new one that worked
Victoptics FFP inaccurate distance dial & milky on higher mag
Thing is I’d still buy them, I do still buy them in fact, yet I do moan about Hawke scopes a lot more, that said I have double the amount of Hawkes and not 1 has failed me in 25 years (this is where @Wing Commander slowly reaches across for his voodoo doll and bag of pins)![]()
