Hello,
I am looking for info on the kraits before i buy one.
I know a couple of friends have the krait in .177 and are extremely accurate.
Are the .22 versions as accurate?
Also what pellet is best suited to the .22 ?
Thanks

I have been considering a krait myself, however thinking ahead, what are these like for servicing? Are these the type of rifles that our in house air rifle gurus are happy to work on,or are they avoided due to being not so straightforward or issues with getting spares.
Cheers,
Shawn

The krait is a very easy gun to work on and cdr guns has absolutely loads of how to videos on YouTube
And you don't need a degree in rocket science to fix them

I bought a 177 and like everyone's saying a very accurate rifle and fun to shoot. Decent build, nice magazines with 14 shots in 25. I can't speak about 22 but I can talk about the .25 as I bought a barrel and bits for mine. The accuracy is fine for me and the pellets of that size work for my stiff gnarly hands. I struggle with the 177's as they're too diddy :) I don't know that many people go the 25 route for punching holes. My consideration was rats and it deals with them no problem ;)
As a general rule I find the 22 rifles pretty much always makes for a bigger group when compared to a 177. There have been a couple of exceptions one being the Panthera which was pretty good to say the least. John from Hawkeseyetv reviewed one on his channel and I got to put a few pellets through it :) V nice!. I'm kinda lucky in that regard as I have opportunity to shoot lots of different rifles without parting with any cash. There has to be some advantage to having a range where reviewers do their thang eh :) Adz from adzhunts has recently bought a wine rack in 22 that shoots nice groups. Cant remember the model, I believe it's one of their newer models. Maybe not as tight as the Panthera but pretty good for a 22... bit cheaper too I believe...
I like the air arms diablo fields in mine. An excellent pellet in my humble opinion. My Prophet and my Priest both liked em :)

Think I'm right in saying airmaks are set up using jsb heavies has above mine like the baracuda ft's and heavies it will shoot lighter pellets okish but it does prefer the heavier ones
