Have to say a big shout out to CSS.

At last years BSS we purchased a high end rifle for the girlfriend.

Yesterday before I was going away for a week I attempted to top it up and the damn thing leaked from everywhere.

My initial thought was shit, it’s March 1st and the BSS is a mid February event. Quick google and realise these rifles come with a 3 year warranty. Thank the lords!

Popped a message late yesterday evening to CSS to ask if I deal with them or the manufacturer direct. Unbelievably they responded within 30 minutes and and short back and forth resulted in them telling me they’d organised for my gun to be picked up today by courier and sent to the manufacturer for repair.

Now I’m out the country this week so a quick reply and we will pick this up next week to organise. How very bloody civilised.

The moral of this story, if your going to buy high end, then deal with a RFD who just gets shit done properly, there, then and without any issue. To be fair, I suspect this is just normal behaviour regardless of purchase price.

When my 3 other high end rifles go pop, my local RFD has a lot to live up to.

If you’re in the market for something, these guys and girls will see you right. And if it does go pop, as it will, they’ll see you right.

Even John Lewis would struggle to beat this after sales, and that’s high praise.

I had a good encounter last year when i bought my first rifle.
Bought the Gamo Phox package,got home no scope.
Rang them up,the nice guy who i spoke to remembered i had bought the gun earlier,he thought it was in the box with the rifle.
He rang me up later & confirmed it was in a separate box now.
Arranged for it to be posted to me next day,good service.
 
Another thumbs up from me for Crawley Surplus Store. Spent almost 2 hours with them getting advice and checking out different rifles and optics. No hard sell, solid advice, no steering me towards anything. Able to answer all questions and explain clearly and concisely. Highly recommend!
 
A reason Ill keep going there. they may not always be the cheapest (but theyll try damn hard to be), but any problems and its sorted fro you. I had a gun that went "phut" after 20 months, and it was dealt with as if it had been bought the day before. Good service and back up a rarity, and Dan and his boys always make sure youre happy. Couldnt wish for a better RFD!

And if they’d like to relocate to Bristol-ish area then they’d be ****ing superstars!
 
Thank you very much for the high praise , customer service , before, during and after sales is our main focus here at the Surplus Store , it is a priority to us . With a massive stock under our roof from all over the world sadly problems do arise but we are here to help and assist in anyway we can .

I Had Some issues with a high end Gun that got sorted out very quickly by CSS. Great Service
