I will, thanks, brother.πŸ™‚ Hope you too had fun !
Indeed i did. Was popping a new scope on my rimfire so lots of fun plinking out to 100m to verify my bullet drop for 40g rws subs. Something about shooting a rimfire puts a huge smile on my face every bloody time....

How long will it stay that green with you Chris? Mine was last week but the grass has started jumping with us now

Our green will normally be gone, for the most part by the end of April. We had a good dose of rain early, & mild weather this winter, so a good few of our native grasses are presently " headed" , so at end of their cycle. What's the lead slinger you're showin' off there ?

Yeh there's a good mix of plants in the cover you've got there.

Aaahh, nice.πŸ™‚πŸ‘ I put the strimmer up against some wild oats ( headed out & better than knee high) yesterday A.M. ...that was a knockdown - drag out , 15 rounder. This year we've good " crop" of vetch & fillaree as well - good graze.πŸ‘

Ha ha, unfortunately that is just a poorly maintained outbuilding.... Wife has a dream of projecting films for the kids against it so likely a job for the summer.....
Something to note on the films front - back in the day, once a year, I'd do a " dinner & a movie" gig...I'd BBQ whatever exotic fare I fancied, FOC for the locals in our small town/ village ( BYOB) & show a few cartoons for the kiddies & a ( generally) vintage Western ( think Tom Mix type - 1920s/ 30s vintage stuff) with my 16mm projector... To the point - if you can get white road paint with the sparkly stuff in the mix, it makes for an awesome painted picture screen πŸ‘ The kids ought to dig it.πŸ‘πŸ™‚

Beautiful! How do you find WMR vs LR for the little tree-beasts?
I really don't shoot tree beasties all that much, but when I do, the .22 LR is way more than sufficient for the purpose. Our ground squirrels ( what I'm after in the pictures, are nuisance vermin & wouldn't eat one on a bet). Using a .22 WMR for this purpose, buys one near double the useable range of a .22 LR ( I consider an LR ~ a 75 yard cartridge, in the main). As to beautiful...we get that lovely green from ~ December until ~April's end, depending on rain timing & quantity; it's enjoyed heartily, while it lasts... then it's getting brown & temps start climbing.πŸ™‚

Oh man, out this way, it's grey and rainy from November til the end of April, and then we have a brief window of pleasant temperatures til the end of June before scorching heat and then back to rain. I intend to squeeze in some outdoor competition shooting in that window - my club runs cowboy action and a mini rifle (practical shooting) league when the weather is good, among other things. I'm not a fairweather shooter, but winter shooting involves a lot more huddling in shelter with a flask of tea than summer shooting!

Tail end of May until sometimes end of September here, will see temps often over 100F +, frequently dropping to high 40s/ low 50s F at night. Your cowboy action gig sounds cool😎, what's your " saddle gun" of choice ? Marlin ? Henry ? Winchester ? Rossi...? πŸ‘πŸ‘ on the flask.πŸ™‚
