Daily Hello Thread

Good morning AGF members.
The weekend is here so make the most of it those who aren't on a permanent weekend 😉.
A bit windy last night but the sky is still clear this morning.
A last chance for a card in the friendly comps ?
We'll see.
Enjoy whatever you have planned, stay safe and stay dry.

Good morning from a not to bad start here in West Wales. An unusual photo for today.
I hadn't seen one in my life time until 2 or 3 years ago when I found this one on the Island.
It is a Elephant Hawk Moth Caterpillar almost 75mm long its head is the bit that looks like it's nose.
I puffs up its neck part and it looks like this when it is disturbed so as to looks like it is bigger.
Have a great day Roly

Morning all. Forecast was for rain and it's held off, I'll call that a win.

Glorious dawn chorus when I dropped minion 1 at work, great to hear the birds again. Off to the range this morning for a walk round the HFT targets with a couple of club members. Should be a great morning.

Have a great day whatever you're up to 😁

Good Morning Everyone.

Just having a lie-in this morning.

Yesterday was hectic, two surveys done on the house we are selling, the weekly shop and an afternoon car hunting with my son (his car having a catastrophic MOT failure) .

Not my favourite thing, car shopping, usually keep it to the minimum, I only buy the next car when the previous wears out.

I was plesently suprised visiting car showrooms, there seemed to be a more laid back, upfront and what seemed a little more honest selling style. The cynic in me thinks this is probably been forced on the industry, as we now have the ability to look up any reg number, on an app on our phones, and get a complete car history.

Finally ended up doing a good deal at the local village garage where I used to serve petrol, first part time job, when I was 14, in the early 80's. Still under the same family ownership and same set of mechanics still working there.

Have a great day everyone.
