Let's see your watches

Now these have to be scams......but what a website
Copies , fakes, there is quite the market out there. One of the most counterfeit watches is the Casio f91 apparently. Even more so than Rolex etc.
It’s already cheap as chips, but I guess 1,000,000’s of $5 adds up!

For me I would rather wear a genuine sekonda than a fake Rolex. What does amaze me and it happens more than you would think. The mind set of not wearing the genuine Rolex or omega , patek for risk of being mugged. So Instead ,keeping it in the safe and wearing a replica of said watch. Which of course if someone was going to get mugged, the watches would look the same anyway .

Started off with the GW9400 rangeman

Doesnt look like its needed but have you seen the Tissot Service offers. The wife bought a Tissot off vinted. It didnt work so I bought her a new one from a Jewellers, then I saw the Tissot webpage. For £110 they take the watch and totally refurbish it, including a new movement if they think its needed and you get a full two year warranty. So we sent off the broken one, fully expecting them to say it was beyond repair, what came back looked like new. So she now has two Tissots that are almost identical. The price varies with the type of watch so yours would be more

Wow that's incredible, and very much worth it. Well done Tissot. And thanks for the heads up (y)

I recently listed this watch for sale on here as part of a bundle, but had no takers. The glass was scratched from a cycle through a washing machine on a trip to Canada, and the strap had seen better days - not that I ever liked it very much anyway.

Original with nato style leather strap, two layers of leather beneath the action made it sit up too high:

Rather than throw it away, I robbed the battery from the black one that I listed and treated it to a new silicone strap from The Thrifty Gentleman:

I really quite like it now as a cheap everyday watch.
