Daily Hello Thread

Morning everyone.

Turning into an expensive week. Large car bill after red engine light and my sons car failed it's MOT and wasn't cost effective to repair.

Spent this week helping him find a replacement and helping him out.

Although on the plus side I did get some cash back from the HMRC from my pension payment, so not all bad.

Put some bread out earlier and had to wash and hairdryer George the Westie's feet as usual. Had some scratches on the TX receiver due to lack of lube on initial assembly, so some wet and dry papers and metal polish on order, to see if I can buff it up, plus trying a different spring as the one I cut down, not sure is its seated 100 right. Hope I don't have to mess about with the new one.

Regards you car bill/mot Warthack , I am on a TT forum although rarely log on and the amount of people who rag their cars and red line them at high revs, then have engine lights and still drive their cars is incredible. Most motorists we drive super careful. My old TT is incredible, its something like 11- 12 straight mot passes. Very lucky. Small and pokey cars though- I don't really enjoy driving at all- what with peoples lack of courtesy and the UK's roads- And don't enjoy driving a TT- very little space to work on them. The design was initially pitched to Porsche as the original TT designer often did Porsche work.

Reading the days updates- hope you are enjoying your time overseas Mr Ganton Gunner :)

Good morning another dull start to the day here in West Wales. Our pond is still not waking up there is no new growth the ducks are mating but no signs of the the Frogs and Toads. The Swan is still here it files off now and again but so far has come back.

I was a bit previous with that statement about there being no Frogs and Toads.
I have just taken the dogs for a walk around the pond at 10.00 and there are now quite a lot in there now.
We had quite a bit of Sun yesterday afternoon it must of triggered the start for them.

Good morning fellow lead flatteners,
Another dry & warm day here.

Off for a walk with SWMBO & then taxi duties for her as she does her 'ladies that lunch' thing.

After completing the shed rewire yesterday with new distribution board, new & additional sockets & lights, it's a day of relative rest for me!

Hoping your day is fun and not boring,
I'm in a bit of a happy pickle,
I've been laughing about it to myself a little:
I thought today was Thursday; a tricky situation,
Meaning yesterday I missed my Tuesday presentation,
None of the 49 attendees contacted me about it,
Which tell me my presentations must be a bit sh#t,
Back to the story Thursdays are horrid for me,
Dull meetings most of the day you see,
But Wednesday is my day of on leave,
Thats now today, so, YIPEE!
