Am back in workshop as I can't sodding sleep.
I do have a bit of light weight tinkering (metal massaging) to do so I would be gainfully employed.
But....... I need a little help from you lot out there,
Does anyone on here know how to beat into submission (re-shape) 5mm steel plate with a 4lb hammer without making too much noise?
Got to keep things a bit hush as I have neighbours.
And please don't say wrap the hammer in a large towel, tried that, total failure.
A different subject:
Many peeps have had a problem with rubberised stocks (and other equipment) going sticky.
I've just scrubbed a horribly tacky PC remote with the stuff below and it is now like new, smeg free
