Daily Hello Thread

Morning fellow pellet pockets 🧐🥶.

I really need to start slowing down 😔.... Roofing is a young man's game.

Have a great day folks.
Glad you’re starting to realise that Karl, it comes to all of us!
Building game is hard especially as you get older, time to let the youngsters have their time!
Trick is to go at your own pace and get plenty of rest if you have a hard graft day!

Morning AGFers, blowing a gale but no rain or snow yet here out West. Daughter and wife heading out to visit friends, so an opportunity to cook some of the liver that came with the whole lamb(as they won't touch it). Half way through the week off, what do I do today, cut more stone or go down the shed and look at making a rifle work station?
Have a great Wednesday all.

Good morning form a windy West Wales. The armchair photo for today.
Have a good day. Roly

Soz for a big post. Must look bonkers.

I used to train with two roofers in the martial arts style that I was in for 35 years, one had a tattoo that said "made in Britain" at the base of the back of his neck, the other Bob, and this was pre EU days, his GF was polish , a lapdancer at the time and her visa had run out and she had gone home and could not get back to the UK, so he drove to France and she climbed in the boot of his R129 Mercedes SL and he drove her back in. A time later he was again in France and this time with nothing in the boot, the authorities checked his car and he must have been pretty happy they did not do so on the previous visit. I could not believe the front he had. Great gents though one was a bit of a wild card. One other student had been jailed for a shotgun murder and I could never understand why he was allowed to train, considering his backstory. Another gent, who was always pretty tough, I found out years later used steroids and recently believe he had heart issues. Oh well. Half a loaf of bread put out today and our Westie sneaked out too, so had to dry his feet. Some 007 James Bond paper playing cards arrived yesterday, so will have to do a garden shoot soon. The old ones were plastic frangible ones that shattered into bits.

Old shooting pic from last year. My now laid up .25 Dominator - that pic from Cutting The Deck, Mr Chouchin66 on the other side of the pond - had posted about ten min's before and he had used an exact same playing card that I had posted.. Ace of Hearts, but from about five/ten times the distance or whatever. Mine was only 16M. Edit- Found the page from the photo date. Two Aces of hearts posted within ten min's. One stateside, one in the UK.
