I've got one for sale on Gun trader it was an impulse buy but I cant get on with .177 I've tried loading the mags with pellets but I've got dodgy fingers. I haven't put a pellet through it yet and have had it for a while but its up for sale now and I'm just trying to get back what it cost me.

That pic is from my advert and I can assure anyone that this gun has not been tinkered with they are NOT witness marks that is a lighting issue I can poat pics or video if anyone is intertestedSo it's claimed to be brand new and never fired a shot.

That's better and just goes to show difficulty of judging by pics many would have passed advert by. You might want to post the better pic on advert.
And also thoroughly check what your posting on an internet gun site as there can be misunderstandings especially outside of AGF where people posting are generally known entities.
Always best to use AGF in my mind.

Question for the more knowledgeable (not difficult compared to me...)
I was adjusting my reg yesterday and went to low, so needed to wind it back out a little. I opened the air bleed screw, but no air came out. I had to unscrew the guage on the end of the tube to release the air. Why would that be?

Did you fire it before unscrewing the grub screw? Sounds like the reg was empty of air yet you had pressure in your tube/bottle?

Sounds like you tightened down the adjuster to far and closed off the regulator so no air could pass through it
Yes, pellet stuck in the barrel......
It managed one shot, so some air must have got through, maybe it locked shut after.

To be honest, the amount of buyers that will have taken their guns apart, because they think they know what they are doing and then stuck it all back together again and offered them for sale, must be a minefield, depending on who has done what. Fair enough, buying S?H off a dealer should give some type of warranty/peace of mind, but buying privately from someone you don't know and have no idea what 'improvements' they have attempted can quickly become costly. S/H goods are just that and the price should always reflect this.So it's claimed to be brand new and never fired a shot.

Well i took the gamble
and purchased the AP900 in .177 from @GaryM on gun trader (I had already seen the advert before it was mentioned on here) , I only use .177 but recently purchased a second hand .22 to see what all the fuss is about.Just hope i can get the .177 shooting as well as the .22 as its single hole at 25mtrs (bloody weather stopped me testing further on one of my perms).
Have lightened hammer (thanks to @jeffsky YouTube video), changed spring and all the other usual stuff and its performing well.
Reg set at approx 85bar and i am sure that could be lowered with more testing but at the moment i am happy with the results, Below 40 Shots took it from 230bar down to 150ish with H&N FTT 14.66gr using a @BobP single shot loader that came with the .22.
.22 will be sold on once i have the .177 shooting as i would like it.
