Help, I'm trying to sort out the production dates for Aeron b96's. I do have a later one that came with a full manual including a test card and production date, just I can't work out what it means. Guess at 3, may 2000?
Any help gratefully received

That is 3rd May 2000.
Czechs sometimes use Roman numerals to denote the month.

taking a wild punt that start of production was 1996 hence b96? I have end of production at 2016/17 anyone able to confirm or have another date?
The only real change I've seen in the models between A series recivers and D was the addition of the manual disconnect lever

i would think that date is correct i have a date 2006 when production stopped
that were imported here in the states by Dynamite Noble 1999-2001
so the first number is day, roman numeral is month and then year
and what a B96 should look like on the left side

here is the page out of catalog 19 1999 Dynamit Nobel RWS
you can see on this page the 96 and a Tau 7
and look at the prices 27 years ago
now the prices will tell you not too many people were buying B96 pistols

just a little fun for you in the UK but at the same time there is info to be had
