Happy with this up at our stables. We're only around 5 yards away.

Nicely done. Did you zero at five yards I wonder, or adjust aim?

Well done @The growler close range shots are sometimes a bit tricky.

That's a cracking TX ( and scope ) I use my TX mainly for Ratting these days shooting .22 RWS Hobbies.

I usually use jsb rs in .22 to get a flat a trajectory as possible. Hopefully getting out today on the rats.

I haven't used those for years they are a great pellet in springers.
I have never found .22 that loopy, I zero at 25 yards and from about 10 yards to 25 I just aim bang on and anything slightly further away I just give it a bit of holdover or get in closer.
Sometimes Rats pop up really close but again I just holdunder a tad, I think having my scopes mounted as close to the barrel as possible helps and also sticking to one mag keeps things simple, some of these PCP's with really high mounted scopes must be really hard to shoot at close ranges.

Goid luck today on the Rats mate 👍.

good kill .on a moving target do you aim a bit in front or at the head/body /middle of ratty ? or do you wait for it to be still ? sorry for the newbie question just not sure .cheers jon

I never fire at a moving target. I like head shots. Front on. Off my shooting sticks. That way your higher up and shooting down. When the rat is front on, if your slightly high. You get a neck shot or high chest. When hit in head pellet can go straight through into neck chest area for maximum damage.
