New DNT Zulus tubed 4K scope

And also don't forget that the 3-12 Zulus has also got a wider field of view than the 5-20 model.
must just be me, had two immersive optics scopes and found wide field of view a distraction and prefer a more tunnel view to concentrate on what im aiming at.

Not just you, I once tried reviewing a short eye relief Immersive Optic (loaned with a loaner rifle I was reviewing), and didn't get on with it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe the same incompatibility I previously found when I bought the short eye relief MTC Viper-X 3-12x32 Connect, which I then sold-on.

I loved the wide FOV and the SCB2 reticle, but I couldn't get on with it. Might be down to my eyes, as I have selective eye dominance. 🤪
Cheers. Russ

My order is in😁
When can I expect it to land my end?
Excited much🤣
Some changes from the prototype.

USB port now the ocular tube rather than on the lrf module.

Button design with raised separation.

Cheers

I like that the buttons on the ocular are the bare functions and are separated from the menu functions on the turret.
I have been known to get myself into an unwanted menu when in the heat of the moment, especially at night🙈

Thought I’d ask. Anyone that’s used one tell me if the focus is sensitive, like my Zulus 3-12 v1. I find that it’s very sensitive and the slightest movement takes me through a clear sight picture.
I found the focus to be much less sensitive compared to the v1/2. I think that’s down to the larger diameter objective. The 4K focus is very nice in use and I don’t see a need for a throw lever or coaster.

@GPCBILL Billy, could DNT introduce an option to have the LRF box permanently displayed on screen? Maybe changing colour once you range?

As far as I’m aware at present it doesn’t appear until you range on all models, so if it’s far away from your zeroed reticle you’re left guessing or have to range twice.

Do you not have your secondary aim point if you've ranged? I use dial in and have had no issues knowing whether I've ranged or not

If you set the lrf to continuous or single pulse ranging in the menu the aim box will stay on screen until you switch the lrf off.

That’s not the issue - it’s knowing where the ranging box/laser splash is going to appear relative the to reticle. It was just a thought that maybe there could be an option to leave the box on the screen at all times.
