Hunting Busy night for the HMR

What a fantastic night tonight with the 17 HMR, some nights it just all seems to come together not missed many tonight probably one or two longest shot wins 154 yards, most at 80 to 100. Seem to be an awful lot of Rabbits out tonight sitting in groups of 10 feeding on the fresh grass. Anyway, I bagged 27 gutted them ready for collection tomorrow I now am sat on the sofa having a large glass of water as carrying all those back to the car was back breaking..

Top job there mate well done!

Your rabbit population resembles mine, one had some cracking nights with the HMR taking 30-40 rabbits at a time.

One night me and @Drake267 went out with my .22lr and the HMR and I think we took 45 before calling it a night, we had other fields to call in at but we were tired🤣

Thank you. It’s certainly bloody knackering as I collect all shot bunnies. I appreciate yours and @One on top of two to get me to this point. Swapping out the pard on the HMR at some point just waiting to see what’s out this year

Was ridiculous how many we got in a short time, and off those small fields from your first perm. And you know I love the HMR, they're a proper tool.

Keeps you fit though doesn't it🤣

I'm holding out for the new Alpex 4k to drop, not heard anything but there have been signs, already sold my original Alpex 4k in anticipation........but I have the breaking strain of a kitkat and already have my eye on other things🤣

The zulus 4k may be ok for HMR use, I will need to get eyes on and through one to make my mind up.

Shall we bang that .22-250 Drum a bit more for Ed?🤣
