that was from a Lea Valley vintage HFT comp back in 2018, I bought the FWB 124 to compete in their ‘Classic’ section 1940-1986. Nice to beat the HW77’s that dominated that category.I happen to know that although those “Vintage” rifles were pre 1986, many were super tuned to within an inch of their lives.Yes indeed,

Don't overlook the original mod 35's either very good rifles & although they share the same internals much better to shoot & make power more easily than the mod 50's.

The sweetest shooting Omega I own - the factory gas-ram prototype (with a ‘true’ gas ram and not a strut), last owned by I.J. and now in my custody (together with his Omega prototype - Wallis & Wallis lots 1168 and 1117). Wish I was at the original auction when they cost a lot less…
