What are you storing your ammo in?

On a shelf next to my air rifle rack in the tins.

Only rim, and centre fire ammo, primers and propellent is stored in a proper gun safe, separate from the guns they are used for.

I use ammo boxes (7.62 rather than .50 cal ;)) for storing LiPo battery packs. Rubber seals removed, so if the worst should happen they can vent pressure with the lid latched shut rather than going 'bang'.

I keep my airgun pellets in the tins they arrived in ... don't typically have more than 4 or 5 of these knocking about at a time so it's not a big deal.

I keep pellets in a ammo box, which works quite well for me, since I don't have a large amount.

I only buy my preffered pellets as I go , max would be 5 tins at a time and that's only if not from my local range shop (I still buy locally if possible). My test tins are on the shelf under my tv 😁

I have most of my ammo stash in a great big tool box and the reserve stash hidden in a wardrobe!👌

The Nato ammo boxes are the best option, and cheap from any surplus store 👍
It's what I use. I have 2 x 50cal tins like the one above. One for 177 and the other for 22. Solid, cheap, stackable, easy to move around, and with not too much effort, you can add a padlock if you want to.

Ammo stored in an ammo box .......... who'd have thought!

Seriously, it's a great idea. Been wondering where to store mine, its a great idea. I'll go `look for a surplus store

Mixture really. Sleeves/duplicates in ammo locker in gun cabinet, one of each in the box on top, and whatever selection I want to test in the case. Once I know favoured pellet, usually keep a tin in each gunbag

Pellets in the range bag. 12 gauge in a big pelicase and odds and sods (mostly .410) in a a 5.56 marked ammo box like in OP.
