I can remember back to the last recession 2008ish? Just moved to Manchester, scratching around for welding work. Literally hundreds of applications for all sorts of jobs, nearly all went without any reply. It's soul destroying. I ended up stacking shelves at night in Sainsbury. BEST JOB EVER...

I use an old letterbox (reinforced) with the front removed. A4 sized printed targets, glued onto cereal box. Bulldog clip on top, elastic band on bottom to stop flapping about. Not pretty but jobs a good'un 👍
