Government alerts

I’ve been somewhere where there was something similar. Young child got kidnapped, every phone in a x-mile radius was pinged with details, child got returned unharmed and perpetrator arrested. I’m sure that conspiracy theorists will have a field day but I think such a system has merit.

Happy to see what it can do but "loud-siren like warning" sounds like a trouser spoiler to me...... why not just a morse code SOS sound or similar. LOL

Conspiracy theorists lol, another word used commonly these days, to merit how easily it is to brainwash people into attacking and belittling anyone who dare ask questions.. I think the term was introduced/created and implanted in the early 70's by some organisation in the USA?. And its worked a treat to be fair to them.

You can opt out if you want. I’m staying opted in. They’re going to run this one test, then will only use it in extreme emergencies

Why wouldn't you want something that might save your own or other lives.

Sure there are potential hazards, but we're not talking about minor incidents - in previous years we had klaxons and church bells, this is just adapting to modern technologies and communications.
