Yeah,

Power goes up with a pcp, (that’s why it’s essential to have a good chronograph)

And common to go down with a springer

Defo! Weather has an effect on most things. I was down the range over the weekend and did notice a difference in my shooting but i am putting that down to the range hut being like a greenhouse.

It certainly does if you've just tried to put 250bar into an empty cylinder, using a knackered Chinese stirrup pump. Forget accuracy lol

The amount of people i know including me that has filled up a rifle with a stirrup pump once and thought sod that i need to get an air cylinder or compressor.

Accuracy should still be ok it will be your poi that will change , pcp will be hitting slightly high

I didn’t even bother with a stirrup pump.

Yes airguns and or scopes might alter a bit in higher temps, even in lower temps.

I just keep the airgun set up the same, ie I don't adj anything as I SHOULD be under the legal limit even in hot hot weather.
However, I DOUBLE check on days like this ie over 30c just in case.

I just simply knock off a few yards say 2 to 5 yards depending on the range that I'm shooting at, after say 25y that mostly works for me.

Interestingly enough I went through the chrono at the same speed both days at the weekend.
My scope on the other hand, was a very different story with some interesting over ranging, 55 yds coming in at 60+

Springers being lower makes sense. A couple of weeks ago my HW45 hit 5.93 and on Sunday it was 4.8.

Main issue imo is scope zero. There are three different metals involved.

Scope rail, mounts and scope itself each with different expansion rates in hot weather. Goes for near freezing temps as well.

Chrono the same as normal at 25 yards in 34 C

The heat must have an effect on them but no idea what. I like you would be interested to know.

My S510 core (so same barrel as the s410) needed three clicks right yesterday after it had warmed up. Same muzzle energy as ever though

I have one on my caiman which is my main pesting gun and it is extremely stable

Nothing escapes the effects of extreme hot or cold. Learning what your kit does is the key.
That goes for stocks, fixings, the gun, glass, everything including you. I believe the " beware the man with one gun" stems from this too. Only learning one setup is far easier than me trying to learn the quirks of 10 'comp guns' not plinkers.
