Snowpeak ap900 looks nice for the money

One of the members on here who lives abroad has a FAC version.
He wanted to detune it,first attempt the power went up,then shows how to bring the power down.
His videos are good to watch.

Admittedly, my HW100KT has never done this.

Interestingly, I was at the range with my nephew who was trying out his new Snowpeake PR900 which uses the same magazines and his did it too. Infact both our rifles did it a couple of times enough for my nephew to lose a bit of confidence in his new rifle.

Any ideas? my nephew was trying out his first rifle which he got only 1 week ago. Hes under my instruction so its possibly something Im screwing up for us both

Mt friend had exactly the same issue, and it was his first pcp. He wasn’t being positive enough with the cocking arm, just make it one firm movement back, then forward👍

Anyone had any trigger issues? Sometimes if I pull the first stage of the trigger then release if I changed my mind, go to take the shot again and boom, no first stage and a shot as soon as I touch the trigger?

Several people have reported an issue with the front trigger adjustment screw winding itself out

I imagine you have lightened the hammer spring.

Issues with the trigger and making it safe are one of the unexpected results of the lighter hammer spring. I had to play with mine a lot after installing the lighter hammer spring to make mine safe. Initially after the swap the gun would fire if I took up the slack in the first stage and then backed off. Really scary. Now it's more like a moderate-weight single stage and is working fine. It took quite a lot of fiddling with the grub screws to get it safe.

is there any chance of a photo showing the position of the screws , just to give a rough idea please
