What music are you listening to atm...

George Harrison was a huge motor racing fanatic.

Not just an armchair enthusiast either, but somebody who put his talent and money where his mouth was.

He bankrolled Damon Hill during his early years when he had no funding.

Prior to that he was hugely appreciative of the professional intelligence and committed attitude which both Jackie Stewart and Niki Lauda brought to the sport. Before that time it had been an amateur gladiatorial regular killing show.

Of all the greats Stewart and Lauda brought something unique…common sense.

So George wrote them a song…

At #2082 @Cinimod posted Starwars, one of Classic FM’s top 300. Here it is again but this time up close and personal with the orchestra where you can see the skill and energy that goes into making this music. It’s worth a look at the top 300, there’s something there for everyone. I had a vote for Karl Jenkins who came in at number 1, if only I could do that with the horses.

That's a great sound.
Close Encounters is also very good played in full.

I'm sitting here relaxed browsing this forum and thread checking on a large forum I moderate on, coffee machine on overtime, streaming Creedence Clearwater Revival, Proud Mary atm. Streaming to Anthem MRX, through Tannoy R3's and a pair of BX XXLS400's a little too loudly I may add as the dog has hopped off to the other end of the house.

Off for another refill.

Bliss.

What you listening to?
My own music, I'm a musician and write songs.
